How to Keep AI Images On-Brand Every Time

The consistency problem

Generate 10 images from the same rough idea and you'll get 10 different color palettes, 10 different composition styles, and 10 different moods. That's fine for one-off content โ€” a disaster for a brand.

Three levers that fix it

1. A locked color palette

Bake your brand colors into every prompt. Example for a purple/lime brand like Imagoat:

"...deep violet #7c5cff and electric lime #c6f13e color palette, warm gold accents, no blue, no red..."

Yes, hex codes work in most modern models. When they don't, use color names + describe the palette.

2. Reusable style suffix

Write one style suffix that lives at the end of every prompt for that brand:

"editorial fashion photography, high contrast, warm shadows, subtle grain, minimalist composition"

Never change it for that brand. Full stop.

3. Character consistency (for mascots)

For a recurring mascot or character, either:

  • Use a LoRA trained on the character (advanced), or
  • Use IPAdapter with a reference image every single generation

Both approaches keep the same face and outfit across scenes. Imagoat's Character Studio (coming soon) automates this.

Brand kits

Store your palette, style suffix, and character reference as a Brand Kit. Every future generation loads it automatically. This is the difference between an amateur brand feed and a professional one.

The audit

Every 30 days, lay out your last 20 posts as a grid. If any single image stands out as "not us," retire that prompt style. Ruthless.
